Collection: Glass Greenhouses

Timeless glass greenhouses for serious growers who want maximum light and a structure that becomes a garden centerpiece.

Glass Greenhouses Buying Guide

Our glass greenhouse collection is anchored by Janssens (Exaco) — including the Royal Victorian, our best-selling glass greenhouse, along with the Junior Victorian, Orangerie, and Cathedral Pavilion styles — plus cedar-framed Alton greenhouses with glass glazing and insulated garden rooms from KGT/Hoklartherm. Every model offers real customization and accessory options. Call or text 732-806-7959 and we'll help you pick the right size and style.

Why Choose Glass?

Nothing matches real glass for clarity — it doesn't yellow, scratch, or diffuse light the way plastic glazing can over time, and it gives a greenhouse the classic garden-room look that holds up as a permanent backyard feature. The tradeoff: glass has a lower insulation value than twin-wall polycarbonate (roughly R-.95 for 3mm tempered glass) and is heavier and more fragile to ship and assemble, which is part of why our glass models are professionally engineered kits rather than a DIY-in-an-afternoon build. If insulation matters more than clarity for your climate, our polycarbonate or cedar lines are worth a look too.

Victorian, Orangerie, or Pavilion — Which Style?

A Victorian-style glass greenhouse (like the Royal Victorian) has the classic curved-eave silhouette most people picture when they think "glass greenhouse" — a strong choice as a garden centerpiece. An Orangerie is T-shaped, built historically for citrus trees and other plants that need more headroom and light from multiple sides, a good fit if you're growing anything tall. A Cathedral Pavilion leans architectural, with a steep peaked roofline that reads more like a garden room than a working greenhouse. See our Victorian Style and T-Shaped Orangerie collections for the full size range.
