Picking the Right Height and Size

Standing-height ergonomic beds put the growing surface around counter height, so there's no kneeling or bending to tend the bed — worth the upgrade if gardening is hard on your knees or back. Ground-level cedar beds cost less and still keep soil contained and weeds down, just without the ergonomic height. If you're gardening in an area with deer or rabbits, look for the deer-fence or bird-net cover options built into several of our OLT beds rather than buying fencing separately.
