The RIGA X-Large: 16 mm polycarbonate- is the largest commercial quality hobby-kit type greenhouse now available in the country. Designed, engineered, and manufactured in Germany by Hoklartherm, With its 16 mm polycarbonate it is set to withstand the harshest environments, the insulation factor is incredible: R-3.0 Riga XL is made of heavy duty aircraft grade aluminum with a 20-year frame warranty.

At the core of the Riga greenhouse is a sturdy, rustproof extruded aluminum frame. The innovative "channel" design of the aluminum components allows for a simple slide-and-fit assembly, making installation quicker and more cost-effective. Every Riga greenhouse includes easy-to-follow, step-by-step assembly instructions to ensure a smooth setup process.

Featuring the thickest twin-wall polycarbonate available in a backyard greenhouse, the Riga offers the highest R-value of any hobby greenhouse on the market. This exceptional insulation makes the Riga more energy-efficient and less expensive to heat, keeping plants protected even in colder months. Most hobby greenhouses today use 4mm or 6mm polycarbonate, but the Riga is built with 16mm triple-wall polycarbonate, significantly enhancing insulation. The unique "onion" shape of the structure is not only visually appealing but also functional, allowing it to shed heavy snow loads with ease.

The Riga greenhouse includes an extra-wide 37.5" heavy-duty Dutch door with a keyed lock, providing ample space for a wheelbarrow to pass through. The structure also features extra-wide automated roof windows measuring 37.5" x 39.5", along with an oversized 30" x 41" gable end window, all designed to maximize natural ventilation and maintain optimal growing conditions.

There ia an optional heavy-duty 6" tall extruded aluminum base. Base can be placed directly on ground and if you choose, can be filled with sand, peagravel or concrete. Greenhouse frame slides directly onto base. The RIGA shade kit is also available to be included in your kit. Fabricated with 50% Aluminet Shade Cloth and heavy-duty reinforcing tape sewn along all four edges and brass grommets installed every 2' around the perimeter for easy installation using rope or bungee cords.
