The Colonial Garden is a colonial-style wooden greenhouse built by Amish craftsmen in the USA, and it's one of the few that can be customized easily and affordably: taller walls, wider or double doors, extra doors and windows, and sizes up to 12x24. It's similar in style to our popular Colonial Gable, with standard sizes available for quick ship.

Nine sizes from 8x8 to 12x24, with 6'6" sidewalls, functional screened windows, 24"-deep shelving, two air vents and an 8mm polycarbonate skylight roof. Add the optional floor kit (up to 12x16), or have it delivered prebuilt and painted — see the Prebuilt/Custom Options tab.

What can I customize?
Higher walls, upgrading to 60" or 72" double doors (select sizes), extra doors, extra 24x36 or 30x36 windows with shutters, a diamond-plate threshold, a treated bottom plate for concrete floors, or removing a window for a credit.
Colonial Garden or Colonial Gable — which should I choose?
The Colonial Garden is the one to customize and goes up to 12x24. The Colonial Gable is the classic Dutch-door design in sizes up to 10x16.
Does the roof need shingles?
The kit ships primed and ready to paint; shingles are added separately where the design calls for them. Ask us and we'll walk you through it.
Does it come painted?
The kit ships primed and ready to paint in your colors. Prebuilt greenhouses can be delivered fully built and painted.
What foundation do I need?
A level base such as a gravel pad, pavers, a concrete slab or a wood platform; the optional floor kit gives you a finished wood floor. We'll help you plan it.
Do I need a permit?
