Hook the included control rod onto the eye bolt and slide the canopy open or closed along the triple-track system. Turn the eye bolt to tighten once positioned — no motor or electronics involved.

  • Looking for a quality manually operated canopy for an existing pergola 18..3’ x 22’. Do you have that size available?

    Sure, thanks for sending over the photos of you existing pergola,F or a space this size, we recommend splitting it into two canopies — an 11' and an 18.3' — rather than one continuous 18.3' x 22' piece. Running it as two separate canopies reduces the risk of sagging over that long a span and holds up better long-term.  we may adjust exactly how it's split, or you can add a 2x8 beam to support the middle track if you'd prefer to keep it closer to one continuous run. We can build a single 18.3' x 22' canopy if you'd rather go that route, but we don't recommend it for this size

  • I am thinking on what is the best way to handle my situation here with the canopy as I do not have the support beams running the width I want it to open and close ? I might be able to come up with some special brackets to actually hang the rail from the bottom of the beams. let me know if that would work

    We can walk you through how to add a proper support beam across that span, which is the most straightforward fix. Or, if you'd rather hang the rail from your existing beams, you can pick up mounting brackets from a local hardware store and get creative with the setup — just note that we don't supply a bracket-hanging mechanism ourselves, so that part would be on you to source and install.   • Can you please provide me with the exact dimensions of the drive beam and the side guide rails (not the lengths, as I know those are customize to my needs). Also, I believe I understood Allen to say that the canopy arm hangs 3.5" below the top of the drive beam. Can you confirm that? The video you provide was a big help, but do you have written installation instructions?

    I am glad the video was a help and thanks for providing the photos of your existing pergola, I sent the measurements and you can see them in the product photos above as well. The canopy arm does hang  3.5" below the top of the drive beam approx, it may vary or you could specify a lenght if you want.
