LIVINGTEN by Janssens — Insulated Glass Greenhouse & Garden Room

The LIVINGTEN is our most insulated glass model — a true year-round garden room. Double-paned glass (22mm total) and a thermally broken frame (two aluminum extrusions with a non-conductive layer between them) keep it much warmer than a typical glass greenhouse, so it works as a sunroom, studio, lounge or four-season growing space.

It also comes standard with extras the rest of the Janssens line doesn't include: retractable aluminum-weave shades and interior LED lighting. Doors and windows can be installed nearly anywhere in the frame.

What makes it warmer than a typical glass greenhouse?

Both the glass and the frame are insulated: 22mm double-paned glass plus a thermally broken aluminum frame. Most glass greenhouses only use a single pane and a solid aluminum frame.

Which size should I pick?

All three share the same width and height — the difference is length: Livingten 5 is 14'3" long (163 sq. ft.), Livingten 6 is 16'11" (195 sq. ft.), and Livingten 7 is 19'10" (226 sq. ft.).

Can I heat and cool it?

Yes — a mini-split works well, and the insulated glass and frame make it far more efficient to run than a standard glass greenhouse.

Do I need a permit?

Often, since this is a permanent structure on a foundation — requirements vary by town, so check with your local building department before you order.
