The Star Barn

The Star Barn, in rural Pennsylvania, is a unique structure dating back to 1872. The barn, along with several outbuildings, still stands today, and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Little Cottage Company® brings this beautiful structure to you with our very own Star Barn. This replica comes in several sizes to accommodate any use you might have. You can own a little piece of history with this beautiful barn.

 The Star Barn Features:

  • High quality 7/16” LP® SmartSide® siding with grooves 4” on-center primed and ready to paint
  • 76.5” sidewalls with 2”x4” wall studs 16” on-center
  • 7/16” OSB roof sheeting
  • Single door and double doors with locking handles (see dimensions table for sizing)
  • Adaptive door location (choose your door’s placement by installing it on either side)
  • (2) working 24”x36” windows with tempered glass and screens
  • (2) 10”x30” transom windows with tempered glass in doors
  • Decorative cupola with vents and a copper finial
  • Large heavy duty Colonial hinges
  • Decorative corbels
  • (3) star louvers


Floor Kit includes:

  • 5/8” plywood flooring
  • 2”x4” floor joists 16” on-center
  • 4”x4” pressure treated runners

we will deliver it in panelized sections, wrapped on a pallet, via freight. Depending on the size of the building and skill level, assembly will take approximately 4-8 hours. The panelized kit comes with pre-assembled panels (with the exception of the roof) and requires no extra cutting. All you need to do is fasten it together with the hardware provided. The unit is primed and ready for paint. You will need to provide shingles, drip edge, and paint - a quantity list will be provided.
