The Atlas is rated to sustained winds up to 56 mph and a snow load of 20 lb/ft². Always anchor per the included instructions and clear heavy snow buildup promptly in snow-heavy regions.

Most municipalities require a permit for a permanent carport structure, and requirements vary widely by town — setback from property lines, wind/snow load documentation, and sometimes a foundation inspection. What can I anchor this to, and what surface prep do I need?
