Description

The OLT SpaceMaster 6'x4' is a compact Western Red Cedar storage shed with a classic gable roof and wide double doors. It sits on a 73" × 45" footprint (82¾" W × 54" D × 86½" H overall) and holds about 120 cu. ft., enough for a push mower, bikes, garden tools and seasonal gear.

The double doors open 45" W × 61¾" H, and the interior floor is 70" × 42". Walls are ¾" tongue-and-groove Western Red Cedar on 2×3 framing, on 2×4 cedar floor joists with a ⅝" plywood floor. Choose a cedar shingle roof (on ½" plywood sheathing) or a 26-gauge Galvalume metal roof with cedar battens.

Who it's for: small yards, patios and side yards that need real storage without a big footprint. It's panelized with all hardware included, and two people can assemble it in about 6 hours.

What fits inside?
About 120 cu. ft. on a 70" × 42" interior floor: a push mower, a couple of bikes, rakes and shovels, and bins of seasonal gear. The double doors open 45" wide.

Cedar or metal roof?
Cedar shingles match the cedar walls for a classic garden look. The 26-gauge Galvalume metal roof sheds snow easily and costs a little less.

How long does it take to build?
About 6 hours with two people. The walls are pre-built panels and all hardware is included.

What base do I need?
A level foundation such as pavers, a framed gravel pad or a concrete slab, slightly larger than the 73" × 45" footprint. The cedar floor frame and plywood floor are included.

Do I need a permit?
That depends on your town and HOA. At about 24 sq. ft. it is under the size many towns exempt, but check with your local building department first.
