What is it made of?

Solid Western Red Cedar — naturally resistant to rot, decay, and insects, with no chemical treatments.

The growing bed stands 20" tall, with an additional 13.5" wire fence panel bringing the total perimeter height to 33.5" to help keep out dogs and pests. A 30" door panel gives easy access to the inside.

The frame is 2x2 and the panel is just over an inch thick. Yes it is recommended to use a vapor barrier to protect the wood any landscaping cloth would work.
