The Cheltenham is built by Alton UK, a British cedar greenhouse maker in continuous production since 1921, imported exclusively to the U.S. by Exaco Trading — World of Greenhouses is an authorized Alton dealer. Every Alton greenhouse shares the same build quality: grade-1 Western Red Cedar (no knots) dipped to resist water absorption, a steep 45° roof pitch so snow slides off, tongue-and-groove assembly with solid aluminum gussets at every joint, an aluminum base profile that lifts the frame 1" off the ground, aluminum bar capping over the glazing, 3mm tempered safety glass, pre-assembled doors and windows, and automatic enrollment in a 10-year warranty.
